The much awaited trailer of the film has been released now. In the trailer we can see Parambrata playing a character of a filmmaker who wants to make a biopic on Soumitra Chatterjee so he is trying to interact with the actor as much as possible to know more about him. It seems the on screen story is mostly similar to the real life equation between the late actor and the director. From the trailer it is very much clear that the film not only captures Soumitra Chatterjee's journey as an actor rather it will shed some lights on the other aspects of his life as well, like he as a person, as a poet, as an activist.

In the trailer we can see the Soumitra Chatterjee playing himself and it gives a mixed feeling of joy and sorrow to see him performing for one last time that too in his own biopic. The trailer also shows glimpses of Jisshu Sengupta who is playing Soumitra Chatterjee at his younger age. Most of the scenes in the trailer that features Jisshu is a recreation of the iconic moments from cult movies and he is looking convincing in those. Considering his capabilities as an actor one can feel assured that he will perfectly capture the essence of Soumitra Chatterjee's personality without trying to mimic him. The trailer also features glimpses of several cameos done by many leading ladies from Tollywood along with Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh and director Q. One must agree the most appropriate casting among those is Q as Satyajit Ray. The technical team of the film has done a commendable job by wonderfully recreating the period as well as those iconic moments from the celebrated films. Every frame is looking so authentic and researched in details.

We all are eagerly waiting to see the film but for that we may have to wait for some more time. As of now nothing has been confirmed about its release plans. Till then watch the trailer and experience the nostalgic moments from the life of the legend called Soumitra Chatterjee.
